This best-ball tournament will include members of the men’s and women’s association at South Shore Country Club and is a tournament to conclude the season. There will be a light meal afterward.
Start: Shotgun (Course closed until tournament completed)
Format: A, B, C, D teams made up by a blind draw by representatives of the tournament committee. Best Ball of foursome at 90% handicap. Ties will be decided using the US Golf Association’s recommended procedure of matching scorecards. If teams are tied, it will be the best aggregate score for the last three holes that determines the winner. If still tied, it will be the best score for the last six holes and if still tied, the best aggregate score for the final nine holes will determine the winner.
Prizes: There will be gross and net prizes awarded as well as prizes for closest to the pin contests.
Entry fee: To be determined. Entry fee must be submitted by Oct. 13. Entry fees and information must be deposited in the Men’s Association box in the pro shop. Checks should be made out to the SSCCMGA.
