This tournament will determine the club and flight champions of South Shore Country Club.
Start: Tee times
Format: Entrants will be divided into flights based on their USGA handicap index as of the Aug. 15 revision update. The top handicap indexes make up the Championship Flight. Players in the championship flight will play 72 holes of stroke play competition. Competitors will be assigned to the remaining flights using their USGA handicaps.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the champion of each flight as well as the runners up, 3rd and 4th place finishers.
Entry fee: To be determined. Entry fee must be submitted Aug. 2. Entry fees and information must be deposited in the Men’s Association box in the pro shop. Checks should be made out to the SSCCMGA.

‘Player of the Year’ points: Each flight winner receives 50 points. 2nd – 44 points each; 3rd - 38 points each; 4th – 32 points each; 5th - 25 points each; 6th - 20 points each; 7th - 15 points each; 8th - 10 points each; 9th – 8 points each; 10th – 7 points each; 11th – 6 points each; 12th – 5 points each; 13th – 4 points each; 14th – 3 points each; 15th – 2 points each; 16th - 1 point each. This is the last tournament where points can be earned in the ‘Player of the Year’ competition.
