This best-ball tournament is for members only and is a good vehicle for introducing new members to the club since the teams will be made up by the tournament committee.

Format: A, B, C, D teams made up by a blind draw by representatives of the tournament committee. One best ball of the foursome at 90 percent handicap. Ties will be decided using the US Golf Association’s recommended procedure of matching scorecards. If teams are tied, the best aggregate score for the last three holes will determines the winner. If still tied, we will use the best score for the last six holes and if still tied, the best aggregate score for the final nine holes will determine the winner.
Prizes: There will be gross and net prizes awarded as well as prizes for closest to the pin contests.
Entry fee: $25 per player must be submitted by April 11. Entry fees and information must be deposited in the Men’s Association box in the pro shop. Checks should be made out to the SSCCMGA.

‘Player of the Year’ points: Each Player on the top 16 net teams in the Opening Day tournament will earn the following points: Each member of the winning team receives 50 points. 2nd – 44 points each; 3rd - 38 points each; 4th – 32 points each; 5th - 25 points each; 6th - 20 points each; 7th - 15 points each; 8th - 10 points each; 9th – 8 points each; 10th – 7 points each; 11th – 6 points each; 12th – 5 points each; 13th – 4 points each; 14th – 3 points each; 15th – 2 points each; 16th - 1 point each.
